Amerikan Ulusal Karayolu Trafik Güvenliği İdaresi (NHTSA), Tesla’nın Tam Otonom Sürüş (FSD) sistemine yönelik bir soruşturma başlattı. NHTSA, Tesla’nın FSD sistemini gerçek kullanım durumları için yeterli olmadığı gerekçesiyle incelemeye aldı.

NHTSA’nın İddiaları

NHTSA’nın iddialarına göre, Tesla’nın FSD reklamları kullanıcıları yanıltıcı bilgilerle etkilemekte ve sistemlerin gerçekte olduğundan daha otonom olduğu algısını yaratmaktadır. Özellikle sisli, tozlu veya dumanlı hava koşullarında yaşanan kazalar üzerine başlatılan soruşturma, Tesla’nın FSD sistemiyle ilgili kılavuzlarda belirtilen sınırlamalara uyumlu olup olmadığını araştırmaktadır.

Pete Buttigieg’in Açıklamaları

Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Ulaştırma Bakanı Pete Buttigieg, Tesla’nın pazarlama stratejisinin tehlikeli olduğunu belirtti. Sürücülerin ellerini direksiyondan çekerek FSD’ye güvenmelerinin riskli olduğunu vurgulayan Buttigieg, Tesla’nın reklamlarının kullanıcıları yanıltıcı olduğunu ifade etti.

Tesla FSD Soruşturması: NHTSA'nın İncelemesi

Tesla ise FSD ve Otopilot sistemlerinin insan denetimi olmadan kullanılmaması gerektiğini ve bu konuda uyarılarının bulunduğunu savunuyor. Şirket, sistemin tamamen otonom olmadığını ve sürücülerin sürekli olarak kontrol altında olmaları gerektiğini belirtiyor.

NHTSA, Tesla’dan FSD sisteminin verdiği uyarılarla ilgili detaylı bilgileri 18 Aralık tarihine kadar sunmasını istedi. Soruşturmanın tamamlanması için ise Ocak ayı öngörülüyor. Ancak ilerleyen yıllarda Tesla’nın FSD sistemi için büyük değişiklikler yapması muhtemel görünüyor.
